We deal with a variety of effluents, liquid wastes and wash down wastes from various industrial and commercial processes. Our LWT facility gives us capacity to store and pre-treat large volumes of liquids, most of which have a large degree of organic fraction, often in the suspended solids, fats, greases or sediments. Some waste streams come with a degree of contamination carried over from the customer’s process such as inert material and plastics.
Our process is built in a way that enables us to accept liquid in all forms of containers including bulk tankers, drums, IBCs and tin cans. Using internal lagoons, the waste is first discharged and separated by sink and float to recover organic solids and sludges, and any plastics are removed. The liquids are then tested and blended if required and are used within the composting processes or sent for further treatment off site. The sludges and organic solids are tested and recovered for treatment through the MBT process or are bulked for further treatment off site. Edible oils, greases and fats are removed and processed to remove water and contaminants before being recovered for use in Bio Fuel production.
