Processing your organic waste and achieving zero waste to landfill

Our first stage process is an effective in-vessel process based around aerobic composting using the natural effects of bio-degradation to turn your waste into a safe and high value growth media for use in land regeneration and nutritional restoration for the growing of crops, plants, trees etc.
The Maltings site was specifically chosen due to its past history of a grain maltings, which has been established since 1862 and we are able to reuse the existing infrastructure for our processing keeping the landmark industrial site, which was once the heart of the local community.
The site is now in its first phase of operation, and covers a capacity of 40’000 tons per annum, utilizing the original infrastructure. Buildings and vessels have been adapted to suit the processing of organic materials, both liquids and solids, to PAS100 and ABP criteria, its fully unique build gives unprecedented control over the waste materials, bio-aerosols and odor both for the surrounding area and work force, no compost system has ever been built in the UK that offers so much enclosure and protection.
The company have fully funded and designed this bespoke system to suit the exact requirements of the waste industry and legislation. 2011 will see the site grow further. The first of the de-packaging systems will be in place having now been delivered to site ready for early installation, ABP approval is pending enabling CAT 3 ABP material to be processed. Further expansion plans are in the design stages and scheduled for 2011/12 taking the site up to the 75’000 ton processing capacity before upgrading the permits and infrastructure for future expansion.
